Seller ID verification

A successful Stripe Identity document check can add an “ID document checked” badge to your listings. It does not prove vehicle ownership, title status, mileage, safety, creditworthiness or the quality of a seller.

Your identity document goes directly to Stripe’s hosted verification service. KigoLocal stores a verification reference, status and consent timestamps, not ID images, document numbers or your date of birth. The configured check does not request a matching selfie.

Verification is optional while this launch service is being connected. You can continue discussing items without uploading ID. If a document is unsupported or a check fails, contact support; email or phone confirmation is not a substitute ID badge.

Arrange vehicle escrow with Escrow.com

Buyers and sellers can use Escrow.com directly for an eligible vehicle sale. Both parties must create their own provider accounts, agree the vehicle description, price, inspection period, fees and delivery or pickup terms, and complete the provider’s required checks.

This opens an independent service. No transaction, funding instruction, fee acceptance or release of funds happens when you click. KigoLocal does not hold vehicle funds, create an Escrow.com transaction or verify its payment status. This is an external option, not integrated KigoLocal checkout. Provider eligibility, fees, terms and geographic availability apply.

  1. Inspect the vehicle and match its VIN to the title and seller’s documents. Discuss any liens and history report.
  2. Agree the price, inspection period, fees and handoff terms with the seller.
  3. Start at the official Escrow.com site above. Confirm the other party and transaction inside your own provider account.
  4. Follow the provider’s instructions. Do not treat a screenshot, chat message or KigoLocal pickup confirmation as proof of secured funds.
  5. Resolve title and lien requirements before releasing payment or transferring the vehicle.
